Group Annual General Meeting 2009
The Group held its Annual General Meeting today. It was a sad occasion in many ways as its was the last Roger Eve would attend as Group Scout Leader, as he was retiring after 30 years with the Group.
Also the Chairman Mel Johnston and Treasurer Wendy Eve, both expressed their intention to step down as well.
Finally the biggest change to the Group will be the stepping down of the Group President the Duke of Norfolk, who has held the role since the age of 18.
The reports again showed how the sections were providing great Scouting and that is born out by the significant increase in numbers over the last year.
